The Program

Bed-Stuy WIC, a special supplemental nutrition program for pregnant, postpartum-breastfeeding women & children up to age 5. We provide help for nutritious foods and nutrition education. We promote a healthy lifestyle, breastfeeding, as well as make referrals to health care and other community services.

Founded in May, 1989, our vision is to help low-income women deliver healthy babies and raise healthy children. Our WIC Program is conveniently located in the Bedford Stuyvesant community, across from Restoration Plaza.

This program is designed for:

Children who are under 5 years old, pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers of babies up to 12 months old and mothers of babies up to 6 months old.

  • Friday9:00am-3:00pm

You must arrive at least one hour before closing.
