"The eye, the window of the soul, is the chief means whereby the understanding can most fully and abundantly appreciate the infinite works of Nature; and the ear is second."
Leonardo da Vinci Courtney Case

BSFHC offers comprehensive eye care for adults, families and children through eye evaluations for diagnosis of diseases, blurry vision, cataracts and ocular complications of diabetes and other conditions. Services include: Eye Examinations to determine visual acuity, perception, focus and coordination; Diagnosis of diseases and eye abnormalities such as glaucoma or color blindness; Prescription of medications to treat eye diseases; consultation and patient referral to an ophthalmologist or other health care practitioner, if additional medical treatment is necessary.

BSFHC also has an on-site Eyeglasses and Contacts Dispensary which offers the immediate filling of prescriptions.

The eye tells us so much about our overall health. It is the only organ of the body that medical professionals can see into. As such, they have access to evaluating the vascular and neurologic health of patients. Therefore, a routine eye exam can aide in the diagnosis of multiple conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, glaucoma, carcinoma, rheumatoid arthritis, and brain tumors amongst many others.
