Kathleen Bernock is a primary care provider specializing in HIV care and prevention, Hepatitis-C treatment, and LGBTQ health and is the Lead Clinician for HIV Pre- and Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP & PEP) Services. She has specialty certification from both the American Academy of HIV Medicine and the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care. She also offers substance use treatment, including MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment) and has obtained a waiver to prescribe Buprenorphine for treatment of opioid use disorder. Prior to working as a Nurse Practitioner, Ms. Bernock worked with LGBTQ youth as well as in homeless advocacy and asylum services for survivors of torture and gender-based violence. She firmly believes in taking a holistic approach to medicine utilizing patient centered care.
