regarding reproductive health and our services to their clients.

HOMELESS PROGRAM |
Under
the direction of Program Director Allyson Greene-Beard,
this is a mobile Health Care for the Homeless Team that
travels to various soup kitchens and homeless shelters providing
health and social work services to those sites. |

PRENATAL CARE ASSISTANT PROGRAM
(PCAP) |
PCAP is a comprehensive prenatal care
program that offers complete pregnancy care and other health
services to women and teens that live in New York State and meet
certain income guidelines.
PCAP offers routine pregnancy check ups, hospital care during
pregnancy and delivery, full health care for the woman until
at least two months after delivery and full health care coverage
for the baby up to one year of age. |

The Wellness Center is an information and treatment source
for individuals coping with life changing diseases. As a division
of the Bedford Stuyvesant Family Health Center, Inc., the Wellness
Center offers non-traditional as well as traditional approaches
to strive for optimum health and wellness through the adoption
of healthier lifestyles and behaviors.
Traditional Oriental Medicine - TOM is a powerful
and complete system of medicine that has prevented, diagnosed
and treated illness for more than 2000 years.
Nutritional Counseling - The Center's approach
to nutritional counseling is highly individualized, and combines
objective assessment with emotional and peer support. In an effort
to strive towards optimal wellness, the nutritionist encourages
the consumption of foods, herbs and supplements that are therapeutic
in nature.
Arts & Crafts Art therapy is based on the
premise that the creative process involved in making art is healing
and life-enhancing.
Support Groups - Various groups are offered that
provide clients with a safe and supportive environment to bond
